Court Document Fees

Per document

Court Document Fees vary depending on the Court to which the document is filed and the type of document filed.

Please refer to –

-      Appendix B of Rules of Court 2014/ Fourth Schedule of Rules of Court 2021 for documents filed to the Supreme Court(excluding Family Division of the High Court)and State Courts.

-      Fifth Schedule of Family Justice Rules 2014 /Third Schedule of Family Justice (General) Rules 2024/ Third Schedule of Family Justice (Probate and Other Matters) Rules 2024 for documents filed to the Family Courts and Family Division of the High Court.

(a) Transmission Fees

Transmission fees are calculated on a per page basis except where a document is composed into an electronic form, the transmission fee collected is limited to 2 pages.

Urgent Filing Fees (Priority Fee)

Where urgent processing is requested, an additional 16% of the Court Document Fee will apply.

e.g. Court document fee = $20.00,

If urgent processing is requested, payment of an additional 16% of $20.00 = $3.20
Total fee to be paid: $23.20

Court's Administrative Fee

Per document

$5.00 for State Courts and Family Courts

A Court’s Administrative fee is imposed on document(s) rejected by the Court.

$25.00 for Supreme Court and Family Division of the High Court

Electronic Service of Document

Per document per party

$2.00

Electronic service of documents may only be effected on registered eLitigation subscribers and NOT on non-registered eLitigation subscribers (including self-represented parties).
